Hi, I’m Brittney Magella! After years of watching my mom teach, assisting her with filming lessons, and talking with her student instructors, back when lessons were taught out of our backyard pool, I knew that becoming an ISR Instructor was something that I had to pursue. The lifesaving skills that children learn is astounding! It’s amazing to see the confidence that the kids gain and see the appreciation on the faces of their parents as these lessons give them a crucial line of defense in water safety.
I trained to be a Certified Instructor in 2016. I taught for a few years, then decided to take a break during which I got married. Now I’m back and excited to be in the water teaching little ones how to navigate the water with ISR self-rescue skills.
