Hello! I’m Amanda. I live in Anderson Township with my husband and our two young children. Like many of you, my journey with ISR began not as an instructor, but as a mother searching for the best way to keep my family safe. Living in a community surrounded by ponds and neighborhood pools, I knew that simply splashing around wasn’t enough. I wanted my children to have real, life-saving skills. I’ll never forget the moment I saw my 11-month-old daughter learn to roll back and float. She couldn’t even walk yet, but she was already mastering the skills that could save her own life.

I had read the materials and watched the videos, but nothing prepares you for the awe of seeing your own child perform a skill like that for the first time. That peace of mind changed everything for our family, and I knew then that I wanted to provide that same sense of security to other parents in our community.

I spent 16 years as a Graphic Designer for a large corporate creative team. While I was passionate about design, seeing the life-changing impact ISR had on my own family shifted my focus. I realized I wanted to use my professional dedication and eye for detail to make a different kind of impact in a way that truly saves lives. I decided to pivot from my corporate career to the pool so I could bring that same commitment to excellence to every child I teach.

As a parent, I understand the immense trust you are placing in me. I have seen firsthand how ISR builds not just competence, but a deep, quiet confidence in children. My mission is to guide your little ones through this process with the same patience, care, and professional rigor that I so deeply valued during my own children’s ISR journey.

I look forward to meeting you poolside and helping your child discover just how capable they truly are.
